“How the Settimo gold bracelet elevated the Perpetual 1908 dress watch from elegant to exceptional.” This is how we began our review of what was basically only a metal bracelet added to an existing model from Rolex. It hits hard on the trend of the jewellery-like watch, despite its undeniable vintage appeal, almost like a higher-end version of an old Gay Frères beads-of-rice bracelet. We will separate this into two categories: the versions that are likely to occur, and some with a bit more creativity. First, the obvious evolution for the Perpetual 1908 on a Settimo bracelet would be white gold alternatives. For now, this bracelet is only available in yellow gold, although the collection also includes white gold Swiss made Rolex replica watches on leather straps. It would be a completely natural move for Rolex to introduce a white metal option in the catalogue.
No major evolutions to report, other than the fact that the 1:1 quality cloning Rolex watches, with its silver-toned markers and hands, either on a matte white or matte black dial, and a more subdued precious metal for the case and bracelet, would look pretty spectacular.
